What is CBD?
-CBD is short for cannabidiol, a chemical compound in the hemp plant.
-The hemp plant is a member of the Cannabaceae family.
-Hemp is a medicine, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

Here Are Some Facts About Hemp and CBD:
-CBD comes from cannabis plants.
-Cannabis grows as two, different forms.
-One form of the cannabis plant, referred to as “marijuana,” is psychoactive, because it contains the chemical compound, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC, for short).
-The other form of the cannabis plant, which is referred to as, “hemp,” is not psychoactive, because it contains such small amounts of TCH that the psychoactive properties are non-existent.

-Utah was the first state to legalize cannabidiol intended for human, medicinal use on March 25, 2014.
