What is Different about Freemasonry Today?
The Freemasonic attitude towards his fellow man has changed from Fear of a Greater Power to an Ego-based display of stupidity! Why do I say that?
The Charge:
The Craft Has Been Corrupted… But HOW?:
This is how… ask yourself this question:
“How Do You Spot a Fellow Brother in the Crowd?”
Reflect upon that question.
It used to be:
“First, I knew you as a friend.
Then, I knew you as a Freemason.”
Today, the above noted exchange is different. Today, Freemasonry works like this:
First, I noticed that you are a Freemason because you flashed the secret, Masonic hand signs to the public;
(That’s how I found out you are a Free Mason.)
Then, I assumed you are a trustworthy brother; so I befriended you.”
Flashing Masonic Hand Signs in Public is backwards and has corrupted our Craft!
There used to be a very, very subtle approach in allowing other men to know that you are a Freemason, as well as finding out if somebody else is a Freemason.
This subtle approach allowed for a sacred exhibition of personal achievement which each man had endured through trials, during which he hath proven his integrity and trustworthiness to other men.
This Subtle Approach used to be a secret gesture given only after two such men had met and had interacted with each other for some time. AFTER such interaction, then, they would judge whether or not they would ask the other if he were a Fellow Brother or divulge that he, himself, was a Freemason.
Being able to judge whether or not to divulge yourself as a Freemason to another man or not is the individual thread which makes up the fabric of our brotherhood.
Fabric sewed together using weak threads is weak fabric! Flashing Masonic hand signs in public is an action of weakness, therefore, such operation attracts other weaklings!
Freemasonry used to be a Coveted secret, a Loving, Brotherly Bond; but our society has become a flagrant joke which mocks the world around it; and I blame such disrespect on our Fellow Brothers for displaying our signs in public.
These Weak Men Are Saying,
“Look at me! … I am a powerful man who knows secrets! I want you to accept me!”
It is a pitiful cry for attention!
(These idiots are selfishly showing-off, pretending to be an operative component of the big joke (“The Big Lie,”) which is being played on humanity, rather than comporting themselves with the refined dignity and respect which Freemasonry teaches us!
Finding out that someone you know is a Freemason used to be a later step in developing a personal relationship with them; NEVER the opening of a friendship with somebody whom you have just met!
This juxtaposition has completely corrupted the Craft!
Let us remember:
“First, I knew you as a friend.
Then, I knew you as a Fellow Brother.”
Today, few men display self-respect.
Most men have regrets which they pretend do not persist in the backs of their minds.
Even Fewer Men Harbor The Truth.
We live in a backward society, because men AND WOMEN are flashing the secret, Masonic handsigns openly in public!
What effect has this had on the Craft?
Examples of the Deterioration of the Craft:
1. Above, I just described the main factor which has allowed the Craft to deteriorate from the inside-out. Flashing our hand signs in public, to the public, negates the notion of any, “secret society,” because, howfore is a secret a, “secret,” if everybody is telling it?!
After a Secret is publicly displayed, it is no longer a secret!
2. Women Displaying Masonic Hand signs informs us that many of our Fellow Brothers have not kept the secrets which we have sworn (under penalty of Death,) to keep!
Women are not authorized to be raised as Master Masons or to learn the secrets of our society, however, as you see all over the television, women are flashing those secret hand signs that only men are authorized to be privy to!
The Freemason who goes home to his wife and teaches her our secrets has corrupted the Craft!
If women want to follow the Eastern Star, that is naturally perfect; however, when women are raised as Master Masons with their left breast exposed, our craft is simply in disarray and disperses diereah into the wind!
When Women know the secrets of the Most Honorable Masters of Lodges, there exists neither excuse nor recompense which could return our brotherhood to its historic, natural and worthy operation!
One result of the above noted observation is the third debilitating factor which has corrupted our craft:

Raising the Young Generation to Think that the 3rd Degree is True Freemasonry is a Fallacy!
As Master Masons, all raised using the same Lion’s Paw, we are all equals under the sun.
Though one man may be the Master of a particular Lodge, no man is the master of another man!
No Master Mason is better than the common man whom surrounds him- men who know nothing about Freemasonry. A Master Mason is equal to a man who is not a Mason at all. (Furthermore, a Master Mason has the duty to have compassion and understanding for the common man and to practice forgiveness and charity towards the common man.)
Enter the Masonic Elephant in the Room:
Recall the things you were taught in order to participate in the rituals which were involved in raising you as a Master Mason:
After learning that the false grip of the Fellow Craft was not the True Grip of a Master Mason, you realized, …
“Hey, there is more to this! There is a step I do not know!”
The beauty of ignorance is learned as the splendor of watching a baby learn to walk is profound, knowing that, after a child learns to walk, they still are not yet running, for they do not know that next step!
The same precept exists of every one of us who have been raised as Master Masons, because we are all aware that there are higher degrees after the third degree.
Although we are all equals, knowing the secret utterances, handshake and signs, there are men who have studied further than that third degree, who know more than the common man; and this acknowledgement is the heart of why I have decided to write this article to all Lodges.
The Third Degree is NOT True Freemasonry; it is only the test a man must pass before he is accepted into the True Brotherhood of the Higher Power and is, thereafter, exposed to the true secrets of the Craft and the True operation of why Freemasonry exists in the first place!
4. As the result, newly-raised Freemasons of today tend to think that The Grand Lodge is the highest authority of the land, but not God, not the Great Architect of the Universe! …. They think that Man, not a higher power, is the authority.
I will repeat that:
Young Freemasons of today think that humans are the supreme beings of the land and that humans rule over other humans, that we are Masters of the Universe, as opposed to the Universe being the Master of men!
Allowing Fellow Masons to think that the power lies in the Lodge, but not in a higher power, such as God, is the fallacy which has weakened our Craft beyond any notion of reviving True Freemasonry to its former glory!
Allowing Women to be raised as Masters along with forgetting that there is a higher power has altogether removed us from operating as Freemasons. We have become a cult!
The above two factors have also denied us from being capable of speculating using informed judgement.
As generations pass, the true and secret knowledge, the Greater Mysteries, are forgotten and no longer passed-on, remembered or revered!
It is paramount to point out that these Greater Mysteries are what True Freemasonry is about; and that these Greater Mysteries are only learned beyond the Third Degree.
Few people aspire to delve into these Greater Mysteries- man or woman! This Fallacy brings light to the main factor which depletes the bond of Freemasonry, which is this:
