A Letter To Mancini

When aggression becomes the weight behind the hand which wields the sword of the tongue and when debate has become extinct to be replaced by cowardly screams or a vast, cold, slow and dignified silence, the change you seek shall flourish; but just beyond that horizon.

Press play to listen:

When aggression becomes the weight behind the hand which wields the sword of the tongue and when debate has become extinct to be replaced by cowardly screams or a vast, cold, slow and dignified silence, the change you seek shall flourish; but just beyond that horizon.
We are always out of reach of that horizon and shall never touch it with our fingers or taste it with our tongues!
As illusive as that change which we all seek may remain, the Love for your fellow man must remain!
The sightlessness of the blind man is sometimes more eye-opening than the shortsightedness of the keenest expert!
A question regarding difficult topics does not warrant retaliation in return.
As John Fitzgerald Kennedy said about going to the moon,

“We do not do these things because they are easy. We do these things because they are hard.”

Asking hard questions, gentlemen, is not easy; however, responding with maturity, respect, and kindness is not hard.
Kindness is easiest.
